Subject: An informative, enjoyable read
Subject: An informative, enjoyable read
I originally lived in the northeastern part of Connecticut was fortunate enough to be able to buy a copy of this book from the author's nephew in the 1960s. Her narrative led to many Sunday drives with the family seeking out the places she wrote about.
I urge downloading a copy of the book that includes the photographs. They helped me to more easily enter into the narrative and to look for places she wrote about. I've read the 2 volume set of the history of Windham County by Ellen Larned, and Susan Griggs' history is much more readable.
